Bokaro Power Supply Company Limited has opened online applications for 18 Management Trainee technical posts across engineering streams. Eligible graduate engineers can apply at bpscl.com by 28 November 2026.
Bokaro Power Supply Company Limited (BPSCL) is a premier 50:50 corporate joint venture established between two central public sector giants: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). Located within the expansive industrial perimeter of the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand, BPSCL operates a captive thermal power generation plant and steam generation complex supplying uninterrupted high-pressure steam, power, and compressed air to blast furnaces, rolling mills, and continuous casting shops.
Power plant operations require continuous engineering supervision across high-pressure boilers, turbo-generators, water demineralization plants, and coal handling conveyor systems. Modernizing power plant machinery, integrating Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and optimizing thermal efficiency necessitate fresh engineering talent trained in contemporary automation and environmental monitoring norms. To strengthen its executive engineering cadre, BPSCL has issued Advertisement Number BPSCL/P&A/2026/02 to induct 18 Management Trainees (Technical) across core engineering streams.
Selected Management Trainees will undergo 1-year intensive training comprising classroom modules and rotational plant shifts before regular absorption into the E-1 executive cadre. These central PSU positions offer attractive remuneration, performance-related pay, company residential accommodation in Bokaro Steel City, comprehensive medical coverage for families at Bokaro General Hospital, and institutional sponsorship for higher management diplomas. Don't miss this opportunity to launch an executive engineering career in a Maharatna joint venture.
The 18 Management Trainee vacancies under Advertisement Number BPSCL/P&A/2026/02 are distributed across technical disciplines:
1. Mechanical Engineering: 8 vacancies. Trainees monitor pulverized coal-fired boilers, high-pressure steam turbines, feed water pumps, cooling towers, and ash slurry pipelines.
2. Electrical Engineering: 5 vacancies. Trainees manage 220 kV and 33 kV switchyards, electrical protection relays, motor control centers (MCCs), and generator excitation systems.
3. Chemical Engineering: 3 vacancies. Trainees supervise water treatment plants, demineralization processes, flue gas desulfurization systems, and fuel oil testing laboratories.
4. Instrumentation Engineering: 2 vacancies. Trainees calibrate flow meters, pneumatic valves, temperature transmitters, and oversee Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in centralized control rooms.
Category-wise reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are allocated strictly as per Government of India public sector directives.
