The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Central GST and Central Excise, Lucknow Zone announced offline recruitment for 17 Tax Assistant and Havaldar positions under the sports quota. Meritorious sportspersons can apply before 17 November 2026.
Applicants who represented a state or the country in national or international competitions, or represented a university in inter-university tournaments, are eligible to apply through registered or speed post.

Educational Degree: Bachelor Degree from a recognized university for Tax Assistant; Matriculation (10th standard pass) for Havaldar.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 17 November 2026. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is granted for General/OBC and 10 years for SC/ST sportspersons.
Physical Standards for Havaldar (Male): Height 157.5 cm, Chest 81 cm with 5 cm expansion, 1600 meters walking in 15 minutes, 8 km cycling in 30 minutes.
Physical Standards for Havaldar (Female): Height 152 cm, Weight 48 kg, 1 km walking in 20 minutes, 3 km cycling in 25 minutes.
