The drive recruits permanent administrative personnel across General, Finance & Accounts, and Stores & Purchase divisions.

Selected candidates will draw regular central government remuneration under Pay Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission matrix, along with Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and central medical facilities.

Vacancy Breakdown by Division

The 11 Junior Secretariat Assistant positions are allocated across three administrative streams:

• Junior Secretariat Assistant (General): 6 Posts (UR: 3, EWS: 1, OBC: 1, SC: 1).

• Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts): 3 Posts (UR: 2, OBC: 1).

• Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase): 2 Posts (UR: 1, ST: 1).

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Candidates must meet these mandatory qualifications on or before the closing deadline:

• Educational Qualification: 10+2 / 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board of Education.

• Typing Proficiency: English typing speed of 35 words per minute OR Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute on computer (qualifying nature).

• Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as on 18 November 2026.

• Age Relaxation: Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 10 years for PwBD applicants as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee and Exemptions

Pay the requisite non-refundable application fee through the online SBI Collect portal:

• General and OBC Candidates: Rs. 100.

• SC, ST, PwBD, Women, and CSIR Departmental Candidates: Nil (Exempted from fee payment).

• Payment Mode: Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, and Debit Card through SB Collect gateway.

Selection Process Stages

The selection consists of two competitive stages:

1. Written Examination (OMR or CBT):

- Paper I (Mental Ability Test): 100 Questions, 200 Marks, 90 Minutes. No negative marking. Qualifying in nature.

- Paper II (General Awareness & English Language): 100 Questions, 300 Marks, 60 Minutes. 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer. Merit is compiled strictly from Paper II marks.

2. Computer Typing Test: Qualifying speed test on computer for candidates who clear the written examination cutoff.
