Office of the District Education Officer Balod has released recruitment for 93 Sangwari Guruji vacancies across Lecturer, Teacher, and Assistant Teacher cadres. Qualified teaching candidates can submit applications by 16 November 2026.
Balod district in Chhattisgarh is recognized for its mineral deposits, particularly iron ore mines and allied extraction activities. Under the guidelines of the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), funds are allocated toward community welfare, educational infrastructure, and healthcare in mining-affected villages.
To ensure that schools in mining-affected areas do not suffer from instructional staff shortages, the District Administration and School Education Department launched the Sangwari Guruji initiative. This scheme deploys qualified local educators to bridge learning deficits in remote government high schools and middle schools.
The arrangement operates on a purely temporary honorarium basis for the current academic session up to 31 March 2027. Selected teachers will teach fundamental subjects, including Mathematics, Science, English, Social Sciences, Hindi, and Sanskrit across schools in Balod, Dondi, Dondi Lohara, and Gurur blocks.
This engagement provides a valuable opportunity for B.Ed and D.El.Ed trained youth from Chhattisgarh to gain structured classroom teaching experience in government secondary and higher secondary schools.

3. Sangwari Guruji (Assistant Teacher Cadre): 21 vacancies in primary schools to teach foundational language, numeracy, and environmental studies.
