Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune, a premier Deemed to be University under the Department of Defence Research and Development (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has announced Advt. No. 02-2026/APPRENTICESHIP/DIAT for technical engagement.
The institution will conduct walk-in interviews for 4 positions: 3 Assistants in General Administration and 1 Lab Technician. Training at DIAT provides exposure to advanced defence research environments and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
Candidates for Assistant (General Administration) must hold any recognized Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Candidates for Lab Technician must hold an Engineering Diploma, a B.Tech degree, or a B.Sc in relevant scientific disciplines.
Selected apprentices will receive monthly stipends under the Apprenticeship Act alongside access to institute library and computing facilities. The training duration is one full year, after which candidates receive a verified government completion certificate.
