## ICAR-IARI Young Professional Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet specific educational background and experience requirements before applying. Here are the position-wise qualification details:
For Young Professional-I (F&A): You need a B.Com, BBA, or BBS degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized university. You also need at least one year of relevant experience. Practical knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms gives an extra advantage.
For Young Professional-II (F&A): You need a B.Com, BBA, or BBS with 60% marks plus CA (Inter), ICWA (Inter), or CS (Inter) with one year experience. Alternatively, you can hold a B.Com, BBA, or BBS (60%) with an MBA in Finance or equivalent degree (60%) and one year experience.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 45 years old as on 20 November 2026. Upper age limit relaxation is 5 years for SC, ST, and female candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
## ICAR-IARI Young Professional Selection Process & Exam Scheme
There is no written exam for these positions. ICAR-IARI will conduct direct personal interviews to select eligible candidates.
Interview Schedule on 25 November 2026:
YP-I (F&A): Reporting time is 9:30 AM. Interview starts at 10:00 AM.
YP-II (F&A): Reporting time is 2:00 PM. Interview starts at 2:30 PM.
Venue: Committee Room, Directorate, ICAR-IARI, Pusa, New Delhi-110012.
Selected YP-I candidates receive Rs 30,000 per month consolidated pay, while YP-II candidates get Rs 42,000 per month. HRA is not applicable.
