Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: 10+2 pass from a recognized board, plus a Motor Mechanic certificate from ITI with 3 years practical experience in a reputed workshop, OR a 3-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as of 27 October 2026. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC and 3 years for OBC non-creamy layer.
Physical Standards: Minimum height 170 cm and chest 80 cm unexpanded (85 cm expanded) for general candidates. Relaxation applies to hilly regions.
Application Fee
UR, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay Rs. 100 through the online payment gateway.
SC candidates and Ex-Servicemen are completely exempt from fee payment.
Selection Process
Phase 1: Physical Efficiency Test (1.6 km race in 7 min 30 sec, long jump, high jump) and Physical Standard Test.
Phase 2: Written Examination of 100 marks covering GK, Mathematics, Hindi or English, and Trade Theory.
Phase 3: Practical Skill Test of 50 marks (qualifying nature, minimum 50 percent marks needed).
Phase 4: Detailed Medical Examination and document verification.
