Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a government recognized institute or an Indian University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE Sections A and B.
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years for Open Merit as of 1 January 2026. Reserved category candidates including SC, ST, OBC, RBA, and EWS receive age relaxation up to 43 years.
Application Fee Structure
General and unreserved category candidates must pay Rs. 600 online. Candidates from SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS, and PwBD categories pay Rs. 500.
Fee payment can only be made using net banking, credit cards, or debit cards. The fee is non refundable under all circumstances.
