Computer Based Test Schedule and Shift Details
Railway Recruitment Boards have announced the timeline for the centralized computer-based test for CEN 04/2024 Paramedical categories.
The examination will fill 590 vacancies including Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist, Health and Malaria Inspector, Lab Technologist, and Radiographer posts.
Testing will run in multiple shifts across computerized test centers nationwide with strict biometric verification.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The single-stage CBT contains 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 total marks with a test duration of 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates).
Professional Ability constitutes 70 questions (70 marks) based on the core medical discipline.
General Awareness carries 10 questions (10 marks), General Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning has 10 questions (10 marks), and General Science covers 10 questions (10 marks).
Each incorrect answer attracts a negative marking penalty of 1/3rd of a mark. Qualifying marks are 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC and SC, and 25% for ST.
City Intimation Slip and Call Letter Release Timeline
The exam city intimation slip will activate 10 days before the exam date on regional RRB websites and rrbapply.gov.in.
The travel pass for eligible SC and ST candidates will be available along with the city intimation slip.
