RRC Chennai Group D DV Schedule Overview

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Southern Railway, Chennai has issued the provisional shortlist of candidates qualified for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME). The announcement follows the completion of Computer Based Tests and Physical Efficiency Tests conducted for Level-1 vacancies.

The official 55-page document lists shortlisted candidates with their registration numbers, allotted verification dates, and reporting sessions. The verification process begins on 04 November 2026 at the Railway Recruitment Cell office in Chennai. Roll numbers are listed in numerical sequence rather than merit order.

Important Dates & Session Timings

Candidates must attend the verification on their assigned date without delay:

• Document Verification Start Date: 04 November 2026

• Reporting Sessions: Morning Session (09:00 AM) and Afternoon Session (01:30 PM)

• Venue: Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway, Chennai

• DV Call Letter Availability: 5 to 7 days before individual scheduled verification date

• Medical Examination Fee: Rs. 24 payable during verification

Mandatory Documents Required for Verification

Aspirants must bring original certificates plus two sets of self-attested photocopies:

• High School (Matriculation) Certificate or equivalent showing Date of Birth.

• National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) if applying through ITI quota.

• Community Certificate for SC, ST, and OBC candidates in the prescribed Central Government format.

• Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) certificate issued within the valid financial year.

• Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.

• Discharge Certificate and PPO order for Ex-Servicemen candidates.

• Disability Certificate issued by a competent medical board for PwD candidates.

• Six recent passport-sized colour photographs identical to the one submitted in the online application.

Medical Examination Guidelines

Candidates clearing Document Verification will immediately receive a medical memo:

• The medical evaluation takes place on the following day at designated Railway Hospitals including Perambur (Chennai), Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, or Palakkad.

• Candidates should be prepared to stay for 3 to 4 days at their own expense during the medical test.

• The medical fee of Rs. 24 must be paid in cash at the railway counter before medical tests begin.

2. Under the CEN 08/2024 section, click on 'Document Verification Schedule & Shortlist PDF'.

3. Open the PDF and press Ctrl + F to search for your registration number.

4. Note your allotted date, session time (09:00 AM or 01:30 PM), and reporting desk.

5. Download your DV e-Call Letter from rrcmas.in when the download window opens five days before your test.
