UPSSSC Lower Subordinate 2026 : Apply for 1784 Clerk Posts

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has officially published advertisement number 26-Exam/2026 for the Combined Lower Subordinate Services Main Examination 2026. This mega recruitment drive will fill 1,784 vacancies across diverse state departments, including Commercial Tax Collection Amin, Land Acquisition Amin, Storekeeper, Social Welfare Supervisor, and Village Development Officer.

Registration opens on 10 November 2026 and concludes on 1 December 2026. To participate in this recruitment, candidates must hold a valid score card from the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET 2025). Shortlisting for the main written examination will be determined strictly on normalized PET 2025 scores.

The vacancy distribution reserves 525 posts for Village Development Officer (Social Welfare), 235 posts for Commercial Tax Collection Amin, 187 posts for Land Acquisition Amin, 137 posts for Social Welfare Supervisor, and 120 posts for Storekeeper and Clerk. Salaries fall under Pay Level 2 (Rs. 19,900 to 63,200) and Pay Level 3 (Rs. 21,700 to 69,100) along with applicable Dearness Allowance.

Applicants must have passed Intermediate (Class 12) from a recognized board, while specialized posts like Village Development Officer and Supervisor require a Bachelor's Degree. The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years as of 1 July 2026, with 5 years relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates can complete their registration on upsssc.gov.in by logging in with their PET 2025 registration credentials. An online processing fee of Rs. 25 applies uniformly across all categories. The application correction window remains accessible until 8 December 2026.
