KSRTC SWIFT (K-SWIFT) operates long-distance and premium interstate bus services under the Transport Department, Government of Kerala. Under Notification No. KS-GL01/17/2026-GL-K-SWIFT, K-SWIFT is recruiting 1040 transport crew members to support fleet expansion across routes.

Eligibility Criteria and Licences

Candidates must satisfy the required education and driving licence norms:

• Driver: Minimum 9th standard pass with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) licence holding passenger and goods endorsements.

• Conductor: Minimum 10th standard (SSLC) pass with valid Conductor Licence issued under Motor Vehicles Act 1988.

• Driver-cum-Conductor: Minimum 10th standard pass with valid HMV licence and at least 5 years experience driving heavy passenger vehicles.

• Age Limit: 21 to 55 years as on 22 October 2026.

Compensation and Allowances

Transport staff receive attractive daily-wage shift compensation:

• Daily Shift Remuneration: Rs. 850 to 950 per duty shift based on route length.

Selection Process Stages

Candidates will undergo a transparent two-stage evaluation:

1. Technical Evaluation / Driving Test: Practical HMV skill driving test on road circuits for Driver applicants; objective knowledge test for Conductors.

2. Personal Interview: Verification of licences, badge validity, and fitness certificates before empanelment into the rank list.
